Day 10

Day 10 was a long time ago because I don't have net, but I think it started in the hostel for breakfast before me Lorcan, Evan the Canadian and the English couple went into town to see the model railway thing. It was a serious scorcher in Hamburg so we were loving the rays. Before hitting the models we got lunch in a pub, had a bit of Turkey Snitzel which as always is good.

We then headed to the railway and picked up a ticket for later on that day rather than stand in the line. So we decided to head off the harbour area and sun bathe, with no cream. Needless to say I got burnt, but I am looking more tanned now which is grando really.

The railway was fucking sick, 12 km of model track, 900 trains, one was 16m long. it had over 300k little lights and went through a day night cycle. I must say I have never seen anything quite so amazing. In fact it almost made me feel ill, 600,000 man hours were already in the project.

We then headed back to the hostel and picked up Colman, good to see him again. We hung around for a while before saying goodbye to our Canadian and British friends and getting on the nightmare train to copenhagen. More to follow.
